Arrived as promised, in 24 hours. The nib is of good quality, the nib size is fine by the European standards, despite of being manufactured in Japan as fine. To get EF writing you can use it in reverse mode. The writing is smooth and pleasant and it is possible to get some line variation by controlling the pressure applied, with care. The pen is relatively thin and very light, it can be posted though for a more comfortable writing in you have a large hand.
If some criticism has to be added, I would say that it would be nice to get included a converter, which is not standard but Platinum proprietary.
All in all, a good purchase.

El plumín de esos modelos de Platinum no es como el de la President o el de la 3776. En mi experiencia, son mucho mejores los segundos. Los de la maki-e son muy muy sensibles a la tinta. Con los cartuchos de Platinum no suele haber problemas. Con tintas de otros fabricantes... railroading, etc. Pero quizá otros usuarios han tenido otras experiencias.
