Estilográfica Visconti Homo Sapiens Blue Lagoon, Limitada, KP15-14-FP

The delivery was as expected, on time. Regarding the pen, the first thing to point out is that the nib despite of being EF (extrafine) behaves as something between medium and fine —by European standards—. Also I noticed that the quality of the paper is crucial. I got the best results with Rhodia paper. The ink I tested was Pelican 4001 violet. Using the right paper the pen slides very smoothly and it is quite dry. There is no line variation when pressing since it is not flexible at all, although traces at higher speed are noticeably finer.

I am very pleased with the rest of features such as the ink capacity and filling mechanism as well as the cap closing system. The pen is very well balanced with the right weight, not too light and not too heavy for long sessions of writing.

Despite its beautiful appearance it is a performant writing tool; all in all, an excellent pen with the only relatively disappointing feature of the nib size which is fine medium instead of the advertised EF.

No sólo es una pluma bellísima sino que función y estética están a la par. El plumín ancho fabricado en la propia casa escribe de un modo fluido desde el primer uso y permite apreciar las diferentes tonalidades de la tinta. Sorprende que un producto de este nivel no venga acompañado de unas instrucciones sobre la forma de cargar el depósito de tinta.
La tienda ha cumplido el plazo de envío del modo riguroso a que nos tiene acostumbrado.
